Victoria falls
Victoria falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and, as a result, it is the most popular tourist attraction in Zimbabwe. These magnificent falls are one of the largest in the world stretching 1.7 kilometers, with torrents pouring into Africa fourth largest Zambezi River gorges.
The Victoria falls is also known locally as Mosi Oa Tunya, meaning ‘The Smoke that thunders”. It has more volumes of water as well as spray after the rainy season, March to June.
The resort borders with Zambia and shares the Victoria Falls Waterfall. The town also shares a border with Botswana, and only 90km away from the famous Chobe National Park.
The resort town has lots of activities to offer from relaxing sundowner cruises, gorge swings and bunjee jumping for adrenalin travellers as well as white water rafting for adventure class.
